The three available positions were advertised on EURAXESS beginning of September. Within one month the consortium received more than 25 excellent applications from all around the World.
After an intensive review of candidate's documentation (curriculum vitae, letter of motivation, copies of pertinent certificates, and contact details of two references), the consortium invited 7 candidates for a personal face-to-face interview on Oct 29th at the Adolphe Merkle Institute in Switzerland as well as for a lab tour organized by AMI's scientific young community. All team members were really impressed by the attitude, the education background and the technical skills of each candidate, which made the final decision very complex.
On Nov 3rd, the consortium agreed on the 3 Early-Stage Researchers (ESRs) for the CITYCARE project. We are very pleased to have those 3 talented people on board with us and we are very excited to welcome them on 2018 February 1st for the beginning of their PhD project. Congratulations to the three of you!
