PATROLS and CITYCARE – workshop on 3D cell culture models: lung, intestine and skin tissues

We joined forces with the PATROLS consortium to organize a workshop on 3D cell culture models, including lung, intestine and skin tissues. Our workshop will be held at the Adolphe Merkle Institute in Fribourg, Switzerland at the 8-9th of July.

The workshop includes a theoretical part with presentations on multicellular 3D models and their characterisation from both an academic and an industrial point of view. We are very glad to welcome Dr. Helena Kandarova, who is an expert in the field of reconstructed human tissue models. She will share an overview of the past and present of skin models and her view on the future of these models, with us.

In the practical part, participants will receive demonstrations and hands-on training in the assembly of lung, intestine and skin models. This workshop is supported by LonzaPharma and Biotech, who will demonstrate their full thickness skin model using the RAFT™ 3D Cell Culture System.

The workshop is now fully booked and we are looking forward to welcome our participants at the Adolphe Merkle Institute next week. If you have any questions regarding the workshop please contact us here. The full two-day program can be found here.
