Benedetta holds a master degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano and gained a strong expertise in tissue engineering during her master thesis performed at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is currently working in the Personal Care Division of Dow Silicones Belgium in Belgium and is enrolled at the Faculty of Science of the University of Fribourg in Switzerland for her doctoral degree. Her research work aims at understanding the effects of ozone on both the cutaneous responses and biomechanical properties of healthy and compromised skin models.
